T Raja Singh Targets Muslims, References Naga Sadhus and Hyderabad Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi

New Delhi- Controversial BJP MLA T Raja Singh, infamous for making incendiary comments, has once again sparked outrage with his recent provocative statements against Muslims. Responding to an old speech by AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, Raja Singh warned that Muslims in Uttar Pradesh and Hyderabad could face dire consequences if tensions escalate.

In a speech addressing a gathering, Raja Singh referenced the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj and Naga Sadhus, saying: “What are you telling us, give us 15 minutes, remove the police, and we will eliminate 100 crore Hindus?” His comments appeared to mock Akbaruddin Owaisi’s controversial 15-minute statement from the past.

Raja Singh further threatened, stating, “The history of Naga Sadhus is that they never come in public except during Kumbh. Whenever Sanatan Dharma faced a crisis, these same Naga Sadhus rose with their voices and spears. If our Naga Sadhus are sent to Hyderabad, those who speak for 15 minutes will go to Pakistan.”

The BJP leader shared his speech on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where it has drawn widespread criticism for its communal overtones and use of objectionable language.

Community leaders and activists have condemned Raja Singh’s remarks, urging strict action against him. A spokesperson from AIMIM remarked, “This rhetoric is dangerous and provocative. It goes against the principles of unity and harmony in our nation.”

Muslim groups across Uttar Pradesh and Telangana have demanded a formal apology and legal proceedings against the MLA for inciting communal hatred.

The video has triggered a storm on social media, with users from diverse backgrounds criticising the divisive statements. Many have called for stronger accountability for public figures making inflammatory comments.

Raja Singh’s remarks have reignited debates about hate speech and its impact on communal harmony in India. As tensions rise, many are appealing for calm and urging authorities to take necessary steps to maintain peace.

This latest incident adds to Raja Singh’s history of controversial statements, with many questioning his continued presence in Indian politics despite repeated provocations.
